Artifact Justification

This video was an assignment I completed for an SEL class, where I recap and review a book addressing the dual impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the smartphone epidemic. This is a perfect example of my continued commitment to evolving my teaching to adapt to changing student needs. This artifact is also proof that I implement the theory I take in, leading to my participation in implementing phone-free policies and practices in my host district.

What this artifact reflects most however is the broad considerations I make when it comes to the choices I make about how I engage within the school community. I can be receptive to and then quickly apply new knowledge, a needed trait among teachers in the 21st century.
