Artifact Justification

These animated lists outline the key roles and responsibilities associated with my current leave replacement position, which is an ideal example of my professional leadership and collaboration. abilities. Working with a wide variety of stakeholders invested in student credit retrieval and graduation, this lead teaching role centers around being able to connect to available resources to maximize student success. Whether it be scheduling a meeting with a geometry teacher to gather tips and tools to address math standards or making weekly outreach to parents, I am constantly extending a hand to those around me to strengthen the support for students.

Being the teacher of record for the district's new alternative program has also required me to take the lead in curriculum planning, adapting the curriculum to address student credit needs, sourcing materials, excursions and experiential opportunities outside of the classroom and further developing the program to fulfill graduation pathway requirements. This opportunity has robustly enhanced my skills and abilities in these areas and is the perfect artifact to demonstrate my meeting of this standard.
